Liege 75
The Eddy Merckx Liege 75 is a modern steel frame but with a high respect to the past. Of course Liege is painted in Molteni orange and blue panels to recognize Eddy’s Team where so many victories were achieved. The Liege is beautifully tig welded with Columbus Zona oversized steel and includes a full carbon fork with integrated headset. This bike is stiff but compliant while the carbon fork soaks up the road vibrations. Each pedal stroke propels the bike with incredible efficiency as if it pedals itself. Very well thought out frame design from threaded bottom bracket (Yea) to external cable guides (Yea) and stiff rear drop outs with replaceable hanger (Yea). This is a bike for fast century rides and Gran Fondo with emphasis on response, performance and comfort. Best of all the Liege is affordable.
