Blizzard’s Austrian factory produces some of the finest skis in the world and not all have the Blizzard label.  With a glacier in the neighborhood they have year round snow for testing and through this they have developed some of their signature designs like flip core.  Blizzard designs and builds skis with purpose and for this reason they go to the extent to create a different core for every model and for every size.  Since Blizzard mastered the burly hard charging ski models like Cochise and Bonafide the Blizzard Rustler 10 is the big mountain free ride ski made for a light and playful experience.  Core is laminated with poplar, beech, paulowina and Balsa and the ski has a partial sheet of titanal for extra strength and pop and rebound.  Finally the use of carbon in tips and tails lighten the swing weight thus the skis ease of turning and playfulness.  Take the Rustler 10 anywhere; it shines in light fluff or in choppy crud snow and on groomers it arcs the most beautiful GS turns with ease.  The ski is lighter, easier handling and has a surfier feel than most free ride models in the 100mm to 105mm waist width.
